Beginning Flute 2 meet in the band room @ 1:45

SPORTS:
PCA’s Cross Country Team has an “Away” meet on Monday, October 21, 2013 against Postlethwait Middle @ 4:00pm. Volleyball has a “Home” game on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 against Mariner Middle @ 4:00pm. Football Team has a “Home” game on Thursday, October 24, 2013 against Tower Hill @ 4:00pm.
PCA's football team lost a hard fought game to Caravel yesterday. Jacob Hadik led the offense with 61 yards rushing, while Caden Naylor threw for 48 yards and added a rushing touchdown. Ke'Vonte Jackson also had 3 receptions for 43 yards that led to a touchdown. On defense, Jacob Hadik led the team with 6 tackles and 1 sack, while Brent Young and Caden Naylor both recorded 5 tackles. Adam Carter, Jack Guzman, Nick Brown also had 3 tackles on defense. PCA's next game is Thursday vs. Tower Hill.

SILENT AUCTION AND SPAGHETTI DINNER:
Students and Staff…tickets are now on sale for the silent auction and spaghetti dinner on Friday, November 8th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for children under 12 or you may purchase the tickets in advance at $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12. All proceeds will go towards PCA athletics. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Rice.

Attention Students and Staff! The Dover Symphony Orchestra will have their first performance of the 2013-2014 season on Saturday, October 19th at Calvary Assembly of God in Dover. The performance will start at 7pm. If you are interested in attending the performance, please see Mr. Hicks or Mrs. Mears.
POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL GAME:
PCA’s annual Powder Puff football game is on Wednesday, October 30th after school from 3:30-5:00pm. This game is open to female staff, parents and students in grades 5th-8th(FEMALES ONLY!!). The football team and other male students may stay after and participate as cheerleaders for the event. Male teachers, if you would like to help out with the game, that would be great. Cost is $2.00 participateand will be collected at the game. All proceeds from the game will go towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help fight breast cancer.

PCA’s Volleyball Team has a “Home” game, today, October 16, 2013 against MOT Charter @ 4:00pm. Cross Country has a “Home” meet today, October 16, 2013 against MOT Charter @ 4:00pm. Football has a “Home” game, tomorrow, October 17, 2013 against Caravel Academy @ 4:00pm.
PCA’s Cross country team competed against Beacon and Smyrna last night. Both boys and girls won against Beacon with Kelsie Webb finishing in 16.42, Toni Carns closely following with a time of 16.43 and Ashley Hamilton with a time of 17.47. All of our girls reached their personal record! For the boys Justin Golden finished first for PCA with a time of 14.06 closely followed by Tamon Walker with a time of 15 minutes and Joey Grimaldi with a time if 15.38. The boys also ran an amazing race! Coaches are so proud of your accomplishment. Come support PCA at home tomorrow against MOT.
