Today is Tuesday, February 22, 2011 it will be an F1 day for specials!!

Band Schedule:
(Select) Clarinet will meet in the band room @ 8:10
Make-Up will meet in the band room @ 1:00
(Concert) Alto will meet in the band room @ 2:00

Lunch:
Café Feature: Savory Chicken, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Peas, and Cinnamon Apple Sauce- $2.25
Grab & Go Sandwich: Egg Salad Wrap- $1.50
Grab & Go Lunch able: Mixed Greens w/Chicken Salad- $2.25

PCA Sports: Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students… Open gym will on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30 to 5:30pm in the gym for any BOY interested in pitching or catching only. Attention 5th grade boys… you may become managers for the baseball team and practice with the team to get experience for next year but not permitted to be members of the team!! If you have any questions please see Mrs. Candileri. Baseball and Softball tryouts will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011, Wednesday, March 2, 2011, and Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 3:30 to 5:30pm. Baseball signup sheets are located in the Office, Café, Upper, and Lower School. All sports physicals on DIAA form must be complete in order to tryout!!

Open Gym: Open Gym has been canceled for Monday, February 21, 2011 (Presidents Day).

Shorts: Attention Students… Shorts are not permitted until the first day of spring March 20, 2011.

Baseball/Softball Meeting: Attention 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th grade boys and girls… There will be a brief baseball/softball meeting on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in the Auditorium @ 3:05.

School Dance: Attention Students… School Dance is next Friday, February 25, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Cost is $5.00 and $4.00 if you bring a chaperone.

Open House: Attention Students… Please pass the word that PCA’s “Enrollment Open Houses” will be on Tuesday, February 22nd from 5:00 to 7:00pm and Saturday, February 26th from 10:00 to 2:00pm.

Delaware Trivia: Delaware Trivia will be on Friday’s only!!

Cheerleading Tryouts: Attention Middle School Students… Coach Shanna is holding individual tryouts for middle school students today, February 15, 2011 who are interested in performing for the State cheer competition. It will be held in the gym from 3:30 to 4:00… she only has one spot to fill so please come if you have experience only. You will be asked to perform 1 cheer that you already know and show your tumbling level. This is only open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

PCA Cheerleaders: PCA cheerleaders won 1st place this past weekend at Dover High’s cheer competition. The girls beat the defending state champ, “Caesar Rodney”, by 15 points!! They compete for the State Title on February 27, 2011 @ the Bob Carpenters Center. Great Job Ladies!!!!
