Dodgeball for Heart:

Attention Students in 4^th through 8^th Grade… PCA is holding its annual Dodgeball for Heart Tournament on Friday, April 27th.  Cost is $10.00 to participate. Other prizes are awarded if you raise more money.  Money is due no later than Wednesday, April 25th.  Please see Mr. Beach if interested.  It should be another fun and exciting tournament!  All proceeds will go to American Heart Association to fund research for heart disease and stroke.

Plant Sale:

Attention Students and Staff…Don’t forget PCA’s Plant Sale for Juvenile Diabetes Research. Orders will be taken in the café today, April 23, 2012 and plants will be delivered on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. All of the $.50 and $1.50 planst were sold today, so all orders taken will be for $1.00 plants.

Leap Programs:

Attention Students…There are a lot of interesting Leap Programs this season. Extra forms are in the office. LEAP forms are due by Wednesday, APRIL 25^th!!

Delaware DigiGirlz Day 2012:

Attention 8^th Grade Girls… If you signed up to attend Delaware DigiGirlz Day is on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 8:30am-3:00pm @ Wilmington University- Dover Campus. Please make sure you get your permission form turned in by Monday, April 23, 2012.

PCA Sports:

PCA’s Softball and Baseball Team’s have an “Away” game against Milford Middle today, April 23, 2012 @ 4:15pm.

Spring Sports Dance:

ATTENTION 5^th through 8^th Grade Students…THERE WILL BE A SPRING SPORTS DANCE FRIDAY, APRIL 27^th from 6pm to 9pm sponsored by Mrs. Candileri and the Athletic Department.  Cost is $5 to attend and $4 if you bring a chaperone.   Refreshments will be available for purchase

Electronics:

Reminder Students… Electronics are NOT permitted in school, unless you are told differently by your teacher for a special occasion.

Plant Sale:
Attention Students and Staff…Don’t forget PCA’s Plant Sale on Friday and Monday during lunch periods in the café.  Celebrate Earth Week and support the fight against Juvenile Diabetes. Look for the display table of plants in the café and be sure to order your spider plant for 50 cents to $1.50.

Attention Upper School Students:

Global Youth Service Day:
Attention, Everyone!
The PCA celebration of Global Youth Service Day has been CHANGED. We will NOT hold assemblies on Wednesday, April 25. Instead we will celebrate the event with several activities;
1. A display of the new bikes purchased through the United Health Heroes grant to be held in the lobby of the Core Building next Monday
2. A plant sale to raise money to fight childhood obesity and juvenile diabetes this Friday and next Monday
3. A poster presentation from PCA’s Service Learning Day in the hall or café next Monday..
4. A school campaign to promote healthy living habits with information to parents to be sent home weekly over the next 5 weeks
Please look for a letter to go home to parents this week in the Thursday folders regarding GYSD. An assembly for PCA’s Service Learning is planned for Friday, May 18, in conjunction with the Bike Day. Please correct your calendars. Additional information will follow.
