School Board Election Day is Tomorrow!

Election Day is Tomorrow!

School board members play an important role in the public education system – possibly more important than you realize. School boards oversee the district budget, hire the superintendent, and are accountable for student performance. Do you know who is running in your district and where s/he stands on education issues important to you?  For information about the candidates, visit The News Journal’s Voters Guide.

Please encourage your co-workers, friends, family members, and neighbors to vote and participate in this opportunity to make a positive impact on your community. Every vote counts. Spread word by sharing this email with others.

Remember,
  • Polls will be open from 10am-8pm tomorrow, Tuesday, May 8th.
  • You do not have to be a registered voter to vote, yet you must be a U.S. citizen, over age 18, and vote within your school district.
For more information and to identify your polling place, click here for New Castle County, Kent County, and Sussex County.
