Today is Tuesday, April 17, 2012 and it will be an A3 day for specials.
Band Lessons:
(Beg.) Clarinet will meet in the band room @ 9:00
(WE) Clarinet will meet in the band room @ 9:40
(Int.) Clarinet will meet in the band room @ 2:50
Lunch:
Sunrise: Cream of Wheat, Sausage, Egg, Home Fries and Assorted Fruit- $1.35
Cafe Feature: Beef Stew w/Rice, Vegetable and Assorted Fruit- $2.25
Grab & Go Sandwich: Italian Wrap- $1.50
Lunch able: Fruit and Cheese
Faculty Feature: Cheese Steak w/Side- $2.75
Dodgeball for Heart:
Attention Students in 4th through 8th Grade… PCA is holding its annual Dodgeball for Heart Tournament on Friday, April 27th. Cost is $10.00 to participate. Other prizes are awarded if you raise more money. Money is due no later than Wednesday, April 25th. Please see Mr. Beach if interested. It should be another fun and exciting tournament! All proceeds will go to American Heart Association to fund research for heart disease and stroke.
Leap Programs:
Attention Students…There are a lot of interesting Leap Programs this season. Extra forms are in the office. LEAP forms are due by Wednesday, APRIL 25th!!
Global Youth Service Day:
Attention, Everyone!
The PCA celebration of Global Youth Service Day has been CHANGED. We will NOT hold assemblies on Wednesday, April 25. Instead we will celebrate the event with several activities;
1. A display of the new bikes purchased through the United Health Heroes grant to be held in the lobby of the Core Building next Monday
2. A plant sale to raise money to fight childhood obesity and juvenile diabetes this Friday and next Monday
3. A poster presentation from PCA’s Service Learning Day in the hall or café next Monday..
4. A school campaign to promote healthy living habits with information to parents to be sent home weekly over the next 5 weeks
Please look for a letter to go home to parents this week in the Thursday folders regarding GYSD. An assembly for PCA’s Service Learning is planned for Friday, May 18, in conjunction with the Bike Day. Please correct your calendars. Additional information will follow.
Delaware DigiGirlz Day 2012:
Attention 8th Grade Girls…Delaware DigiGirlz Day is on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 8:30am-3:00pm @ Wilmington University- Dover Campus. If interested and for more information, please contact Ms. Elliott as soon as possible.
PCA Ballet Family Fun Night:
PCABT is having a Family Fun Night at Friendly’s in Dover on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Please join us and show your support

PCA’s Softball and Baseball Team’s have a “Home” game against Dover Central Middle on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 @ 4:00pm.
