CAFÉ POSTER CONTEST:
Attention Students…Start Today! Submit a Poster/Drawing that shows what you think a “Healthy” Tray should look like with a brief description. Poster/Drawing should include First and Last Name, Grade and Age. Categories Age 8 and above or Age 7 and below… PRIZES: The Top (10) Children age 8 and older will be selected to attend the“Kid Chef Program” held in Providence Creek Academy Café from Dec 2nd-6th2013. The Top (10) Children age 7 and below will receive a “Special” Prize. Poster/Drawing should be turned in to the Café. Please direct any questions to Chef Rogers.
BAND:
Beginner Trombone 2 will meet in the band room @ 8:15
Beginner Trombone 3 will meet in the band room @ 9:15
Concert Low Brass will meet in the band room @ 10:00
Beginner Percussion 1 will meet in the band room @ 11:10
Beginner Saxophone 2 will meet in the band room @ 1:45

SPORTS:
PCA’s Football Team has a “Home” game, tomorrow, October 24, 2013 against Tower Hill School @ 4:00pm.
Volleyball’s 2ndAnnual Central Delaware Middle School Invitational is tomorrow, October 25, 2013 @ 5pm. Cross Country has a quad-meet “Home” on Monday, October 28, 2013 @ 4:00pm.
Volleyball won their game last night against Mariner Middle! 25-16 and 25-12!Erin Lewis served up 5 aces and Briana Charles had 2 aces. Julia Taralia had 2 kills and Samantha Lehman added 2 digs! Everyone played well, great job ladies!
SLW REGISTRATION:
Attention Students 1st-8thGrade… Smyrna Little Wrestlers Registration for the 2013-2014 season will be held on Friday, October 25thfrom 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Smyrna High School Natatorium. SCHOOL DANCE:
Attention Students 5th-8thGrade… Halloween Dance is tomorrow, October 25, 2013 from 6-9pm in the Café. Cost is $5.00 and $4.00 if you bring a chaperone. There will be a costume contest!!
PICTURE MAKE-UPS:
Attention Students and Staff… Picture Make-ups will be on Friday, November 15, 2013 starting @ 12:00pm.
SILENT AUCTION AND SPAGHETTI DINNER:
Students and Staff…tickets are now on sale for the silent auction and spaghetti dinner on Friday, November 8th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for children under 12 or you may purchase the tickets in advance at $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12. All proceeds will go towards PCA athletics. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Rice.
PBS TRIPS:
Attention Students going on the PBS trips today, Oct. 24th(2nd-5thand tomorrow, Oct. 25th may wear jeans w/any school appropriate shirt, dress warm!! Remember to bring a bag lunch. Students not going on the PBS trips MUST be in dress code!!
FALL BOOKFAIR:
Attention Students and Staff… Fall Book Fair ends tomorrow, October 25thin the auditorium.
RAFFLE TICKETS:
Students and Staff… Would you like a chance to win two tickets to an NFL football game? The PCA football team and Coach Rice will be selling raffle tickets to a Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings vs. the defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. Cost is $5.00 per raffle ticket OR 5 tickets for $20.00. You may purchase as many tickets as you would like. The winner will receive two tickets to the game. The drawing will be held November 8th at the silent auction and spaghetti dinner. Don't miss out on your chance to win!
POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL GAME:
PCA’s annual Powder Puff football game is on Wednesday, October 30th after school from 3:30-5:00pm. This game is open to female staff, parents and students in grades 5th-8th(FEMALES ONLY!!). The football team and other male students may stay after and participate as cheerleaders for the event. Male teachers, if you would like to help out with the game, that would be great. Cost is $2.00 participateand will be collected at the game. All proceeds from the game will go towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help fight breast cancer.
LOST AND FOUND:
Attention Students… Please check the lost and found tables located in all 3 buildings for any lost items. Items will be removed on Friday, October 25th!!
