Today is Tuesday, October 8, 2013 and it is a D3 day for specials!!

SPORTS:

PCA’s Volleyball Team has a “Home” game, today, October 8, 2013 against Red Lion @ 4:00pm. Cross Country has an “Away” meet on Thursday, October 10, 2013 against St. Anne’s School @ 4:00pm. Football Team has an “Away” game on Thursday, October 10, 2013 against Tatnall School @ 3:45pm

*Volleyball won their game last night against MOT Charter 25-16 and 25-20! Erin Lewis served up 5 aces. Julia Taralia added 4 kills. Janie Townsend picked up 3 digs and Katie Rocco added 2 digs. Great job ladies!!

*PCA’s Cross country team competed against MOT Charter and Newark Charter. PCA won against both teams! Justin Golden finished first out of 24 boys with a time of 13.53. Tamon, the great finished 3^rdoverall with a time of 14.26, Joey Grimaldi finished 10^th overall with a time of 15.43, followed by Leroy Meekins with a time of 16.16, and Gabe Gatlin with a time of 19.15. For the girls, Toni Carns finished 7^thout of 48 girls with a time of 16.06, followed by Kelsie Webb in 8^th with a time of 16.34. Ashley Hamilton came in 21^st, followed by Rachael Sullivan, Torey Simpson, and Giana Golden. They ran a really tough and hard race and gave it their all.

BAND:

Beginning Flute 1 will meet in the band room @ 8:15

Beginning Flute 2 will meet in the band room @ 9:15

Concert Flutes will meet in the band room @ 10:00

Concert Clarinet 1 will meet in the band room @ 10:50

Concert Clarinet 2 will meet in the band room @ 11:45

Beginning Clarinet 1 will meet in the band room @ 1:45

Concert Saxophone will meet in the band room @ 2:15

Beginning Clarinet 2 will meet in the band room @ 3:00

PICTURE DAY:

Attention Students and Staff… Picture Day is on Friday, October 11, 2013. Sports pictures is on Friday, October 11, 2013 starting @ 3:30pm.

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY:

"National Junior Honor Society (7th and 8th grade members) will have its first meeting on the year on Thursday, October 10th from 3:30 to 4:30 in Miss Thomas' room. The date has been changed to THURSDAY, October 10th. If you want to run for an office you need to see Miss Thomas by Tuesday, October 8th."

Pizza Hut Night is tomorrow, October 4, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Pizza Hut in Dover, DE to support the PCA football team.
