BAND:

Attention Students… Friday, September 27^this the last day to join band. Please see Mr. Hicks if you still plan on joining.

SPORTS:

PCA’s Volley has an “Away” game on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 against Red Lion Middle @ 4:00pm. Football has an “Away” game against Malvern Prep on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 @ 3:45pm. Cross Country has an “Away” meet on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Killens Pond against Chipman Middle @ 4:30pm.

PCA football opened up the season with a hard fought 20-16 victory over Dover Air Force Base. Nick Brown opened the game by taking the opening kickoff 71 yards for a touchdown. Nick also had three receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. Adam Tuxward led the offense with 73 yards passing and 1 touchdown, as well as 32 yards rushing and a touchdown. Jacob Hadik led the defense with 11 tackles and 4 sacks, while Brent Young and Caden Naylor both recorded 6 tackles. The defense held the Falcons to just 76 yards of offense all game, including shutting them down in the second half for -46 yards.

Attention Students… Joe Corbi’s fundraising has begun. Order forms and money are due Monday, September 30, 2013. Delivery will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 and may be picked up between 3:30-6:30pm.

Pizza Hut Night is Friday, October 4, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Pizza Hut in Dover, DE to support the PCA football team.
