Today is Wednesday, February 27, 2013 and it is an A3 day for specials!!

CAFÉ FEATURES:

BAND LESSONS:

Beginning Make-Ups will meet in the band room @ 1:15

Concert Make-Ups will meet in the band room @ 1:45

Beginning Make-Ups will meet in the band room @ 2:15

YEARBOOK MEETING:

Attention Yearbook Committee… The last two yearbook meetings will be on Friday, March 8, 2013 and Friday, March 22, 2013.

BUDDY PHOTOS:

Attention Students and Staff… It’s Buddy Photo time again, so grab all your buddies and get your picture taken!! Cost is $5.00 each photo… photos may have 2-5 people. Photos will be printed in color in the 2012-2013 PCA Yearbook. Get a copy of your photo for an extra $0.50 per copy. Money is due at the time the photo is taken.

6-8: Friday, March 1^st @ 10:00 (Upper School)

SPELLING BEE:

On Thursday, February 21, 2013, we held a spelling bee for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who were recommended by their ELA teacher. One eighth grader, Jalen Mooney, and one seventh grader, Izzy Stennett, were the finalists. Izzy Stennett will represent Providence Creek Academy at the Delaware State Spelling Bee on March 2, 2013. Congratulations to the following students for being recommended and participating in the PCA spelling bee:

Grade 5: Martin Dudley, Emma Zeitler, Charlese Carter, Kelsie Webb

Grade 6: Aniah Patterson, Caroline Dowd, Kaurie Durham, Katie Rocco

PCA SPORTS:

Attention Students 6-8^th Grade…Softball and Baseball tryouts will be held starting Monday, March 4th from 3:30 to 5:30 through Wednesday, March 6th, student must have a DIAA sports physical form completed in order to try out. Students that have any outstanding unpaid athletic fee will not be able to tryout. Please see Mrs. Candileri, Coach Powell, or Coach Norman if you have any questions. Also cheerleaders, if you are interested in trying out for softball, please speak with Coach Powell.

*Make sure you bring warm clothes as tryouts will take place outside.

BASKETBALL’S END OF THE SEASON PARTY:

Attention Basketball Teams…Girls and Boys Basketball end of the season party will be this Friday, March 1, 2013.

SPORTS DAY:

Attention Students and Staff… PCA is having a “Sports Day” this Friday, March 1, 2013. Students must wear school appropriate sport shirt with jeans or sweats (no yoga pants or shorts). Cost is $3.00 to participate.

SPIRIT DAY:

Attention Students and Staff…PCA is having a “Pajama Spirit Day”, Today, Feb. 27,2013. Please make sure you visit PCA’s Google calendar for full details on the dress code. Cost is $2.00 to participate.
