PCA Cheerleading
Competition:
PCA's Cheerleading Competition placed 2nd at
yesterday's St. Mark's competition. The girls have dedicated a lot of time and
effort to cheerleading in the past two weeks and we are all looking forward to
seeing the improvement continue to grow! Our next competition will be this
Saturday at Christiana High School. Please come out to see a great competition
and support the cheerleaders!!
Sweats
Day:
Attention Students and Staff… PCA is having a “Sweats
Day” with any school appropriate black, gray, purple or PCA
sweatshirt/sweatpants (NO yoga pants or sweatpants with words written on the
bum) on Friday, February 1, 2013 to help raise money for “Dodgeball for Heart”.
Please remember “Dodgeball for Heart” raises money for “The American Heart
Association”. Students do not need to pay to participate… donations are
welcomeJ
Spirit
Days:
PCA is having a “Spirit Day” every Wednesday in the
month of February hosted by PCA’s Student Council… Feb. 6th
(Athletic Wear), Feb. 13th (Mix Match), Feb.
20th (Twin Day), and Feb.
27th (Pajama Day). Please
make sure you visit PCA’s google calendar for full details on dress codes per
day. Any student who comes to school wearing anything that breaks the rules
clearly defined by the student council will receive a level 2 write up for
failure to follow class rules and being out of the approved dress code for that
week. If student changes after something is said by teacher, the write up will
still stand. In addition the student will lose future participation in spirit
day’s for the remainder of the school year. Cost is $2.00 to participate each
day.
Talent Show
Auditions:

5th-8th
Grade Students… Can you sing, dance, twirl a baton, or have another special
talent? If so, then try out for PCA’s talent show. Try-outs will be on
Wednesday, February 6th and Thursday, February
7th
from 3:30-5:00pm. If you are interested in
auditioning please see Mrs. Lewis for the information sheet and audition form.
You MAY not try out without signed permission from home.
Lost and
Found:
Attention Students… Lost and Found will be removed
this Friday, February 1, 2013. If you are missing items, please make sure you
take a look before Friday.
