Martin Luther Kings Birthday:
On Monday, January 16, 2012 our school will be closed in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King. Dr. King was famous for many speeches. One of his famous speeches is called the “I Have a Dream” speech. Dr. King also believed in service to others. At Providence Creek Academy Charter School, we participate in Service Learning Days, but service to others is not just for one day in the fall and spring. We can serve others around us at PCA, at home, and in our community everyday. PCA has received a $500 grant award from United Health Heroes to help us serve our community. You will hear more information about this grant on the announcements and from your teachers later this month.
