Today is Friday, March 11, 2011 it will be an E2 day for specials!!

Band Schedule:
(Int.) Alto will meet in the band room @ 8:10
(Concert Alto will meet in the band room @ 8:40
(6/8) Make Ups will meet in the band room @ 1:00
(Select) Sax will meet in the band room @ 1:30
(Beg.) Alto will meet in the band room @ 2:00

Café Feature: Pizza, Fried Rice, Oriental Blend, Vanilla Pudding w/Bananas- $2.25
Grab & Go Sandwich: Salami & Cheese on 12 Grain- $1.50
Faculty Feature: Chef choice salad tossed to order in Balsamic Dressing- $2.75

Extended Days: Reminder Students… There will be an extra 15 minutes added to each school day starting on March 16, 2011 to make-up for extra snow days, please remind your parents!!

Dodgeball and Jump Rope for Heart: Attention Students… Dodgeball and Jump Rope for Heart is Wednesday, March 23, 2011. In order to participate in either event, students must get donations or sponsorships of at least $10.00. The money raised will be used to fund research for heart disease and stroke. All donations are due by Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Any questions please see Mr. Beach.

PCA Sports: PCA’s Softball Team will have a “Scrimmage” on March 17, 2011 @ 4:00pm against Dover @ Schutte Park.

Candy Grams: Attention Students and Staff… St. Patty’s Day Candy Grams are now on sale in the mornings of the Core, Upper, and Lower school lobbies. The cost is $1.00 per candy gram and they will be delivered on March 17, 2011.

National Honor Society: Attention Students… National Junior Honor Society students are hosting a book drive for all ages. All proceeds will be donated to Green Acres Preschool & PCA’s library. The grade with the most books collected will win a Free Jeans Day on April 1, 2011. Boxes will be located in ELA classrooms for each grade.

Spirit Week: Next week is Spirit Week for National Honor Society... All proceeds will go to “Help Haiti Now” with the exception of Thursday’s proceeds which will go to “Fine Arts”.

Monday, March 14, 2011 is Hoodie Day w/school uniform pants
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 is Twin Day (any non-uniform school appropriate outfit is permitted)
Wednesday, March 16, 2011 is Sports Day (sweatpants are permitted)
Thursday, March 17, 2011 is Jeans Day w/ St. Patty’s Day Shirt and/or any green shirt
Friday, March 18, 2011 is Crazy Hair Day w/school uniform

*Cost for Spirit Week is $2.00 for each day you participate. Jeans are ONLY permitted on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 and Thursday, March 17, 2011!!!!


School Dance: National Honor Society hosting a school dance on Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Cafe from 6:00 to 9:00pm sharp. Cost is $5.00 and $4.00 if you bring a chaperone. There will be drinks and hot pretzels sold!!

Leap Programs: Attention Students…Leap Programs will start Monday, March 14, 2011. Please make sure you get your leap forms turned in by Thursday, March 17, 2011…Classes are filling up fast!! Extra Leap forms are located in the office.

Daylight Savings Time: Reminder Students and Staff… Spring forward this weekend so remember to turn your clocks forward one hour on Sunday, March 13, 2011.
